Updated 07/02/2025
We aim to be open to the public 10am - 4pm on Sundays  from Easter - December 2025 with additional Saturday opening for events.  If you would like to be part of our platform staff as a volunteer welcomer and to learn new skills please vist our volunteering page. New welcomers will be supported by one of our experienced volunteers and it is a great way to make new friends. We welcomed the Ariel Motorcycle Club who were on tour in 2022 with Sue H, Joan and Sue J forming part of the welcoming team. It was a great day and the video shows the departure of the motorcycles.
We can host private events during our closed season subject with prior agreement please email with your request and our of our events team will get back to you. Events email

Excellent
Just so lovely you want to take the whole place and people home with you
A place full of charm. Such lovely warm and friendly volunteer staff, deeply knowledgeable, and kind. We had a shed tour too which was frankly awesome and a great behind the scenes insight. If you enjoy smaller calmer railways rich in story and heritage you should go for a visit.''
