We are committed to providing the best possible experience for people living with dementia
This page will detail our strategy for helping visitors living with dementia and their family or carers to have a great time at KSE.
A number of our volunteers have undergone training to become Dementia Friends and aim to help enhance your experience at KSE.
Our station building closed in 1962 and we started restoring it in 1997. We aim to recreate the station and the area to how it would have been in the 1950s which provides an ideal experience to stimulate memories for those with dementia to share with their children and grandchildren.
We are working with local and national dementia charities to make our station more dementia friendly.

We are aware that people with dementia need more time others and we can provide this to enhance your visit
