We are committed to providing the best possible experience for people with dementia
This page will detail our strategy for helping visitors with dementia and their family or carers to have a great time at KSE.
A number of our volunteers have undergone training to become Dementia Friends and aim to help enhance your experience at KSE.
Our station building closed in 1962 and we started restoring it in 1997. We aim to recreate the station and the area to how it would have been in the 1950s which provides an ideal experience to stimulate memories for those with dementia to share with their children and grandchildren.
We are aware that people with dementia need more time others and we can provide this to enhance your visit
Please feel free to contact our platform staff to discuss your specific needs before visiting KSE and we will do our best to help you.
