We have now launched our online shop which enables payment by cheque and Paypal. It is still under development, so does not have the full product range available yet. Delivery costs will be calculated at checkout on the website, but if you want to collect your goods in person, this charge will be waived and it will be a good chance for you to visit KSE and see the progress since 2010. Please note: Kirkby Stephen East Station site is open from 10 am - 4pm at weekends.

The second reprint of Keith Richardson's excellent book, 'Kirkby Stephen East - a Station Remembered' is now available - details of how to order a copy are given below, but it can also be ordered through the online shop website.

We have increased the range of stock in the shop this year in preparation for the Stainmore 150 Event. We are now  stockists for Bachmann OO gauge and Graham Farish N gauge range. Examples of the current model railway stock is shown on our online shop pages.

The latest products in stock include an increased range of Cumbria / Lake District related titles from Countryside Books and steam / diesel DVD's from Transport Video Publishing. We are now suppliers for Gibson's Puzzles and stock a wide range of high quality jigsaws. 

Our supplies of award-winning homemade relishes, pickles and preserves from Hawkshead Relish have proved very popular and we are about to order in our Spring supplies. If you have a favourite Hawkeshead Relish which you would like to see in the shop, please let us know and we will endevour to stock it.

We have commissioned a range of unique crystal-ware engraved with the South Durham and Lancashire Union Railway Crest to commemorate the Stainmore 150 Event and this can be ordered through the online shop website. The range includes quality paperweights, whisky glasses and beer tankards and is produced by Burns Crystal.

To mark the opening of our new Retail Outlet, the Rev. Alan Cliff, author of the award winning 'Jack the Station Cat' books, undertook a book signing session for us at KSE on Saturday 22nd November 2008 (10.30 - 12.30). 'Jack' himself was also present and a record number of 'Jack' books were sold during the session. Further details about 'Jack' and his friends can be found on their website.

At the end of this page, there is an album of photographs showing the work undertaken on the new shop. This has been made possible by a grant from Cumbria County Council's 'Community Regeneration Fund' and a lot of hard work by our volunteers and Contractors.

The shop also has an excellent selection of new and second-hand books. 'Rabbit' the cat has been immortalised in the 'Jack the Station Cat' book by the Rev. Alan Cliff where she stars as Miss Rabbit, Head of the Kirkby Stephen East Station Cat Choir in 'Jack the Station Cat and the Midnight Mice'.
