Our temporary shop premises are situated in the Booking Office, but we are in the process of creating a new, permanent facility in the old Porters Room and Motive Power Office at the eastern end of the station building.
We stock a wide range of 'Thomas the Tank Engine', 'Ivor the Engine' and 'Jack the Station Cat' merchandise for our younger customers. The shop also has an excellent selection of Stenlake / Oakwood Press books, second-hand books and railway DVDs / videos for enthusiasts. We supply limited edition prints of Kirkby Stephen East by John Robinson and the 76084 Locomotive Company which are available unframed or framed (to order). In addition to these items, we also have a range of Stainmore Railway Company sweets and biscuits produced by 'Foster's Fine Foods' which make lovely gifts.
Back issues of our newsletter are also available, but some issues are now out of print (see below).
The shop is open at weekends from 11am - 3-30pm when volunteers are on site. During the summer, we plan to extend our opening hours and days. Please feel free to visit us.

We stock a range of 'Jack the Station Cat' merchandise and his books. The book is available from our shop for just £2-95.
